The $1 billion facility consists of three sectors: the 700-bed general hospital, the 400-bed community hospital and a medical center. The hospital is the first in Singapore designed and built from the ground up as an integrated development for better patient care, greater efficiency and convenience. The design was planned so that patient care, treatment and rehabilitation would continue seamlessly between the hospitals.
